In the heart of July, I had the absolute joy of photographing a sweet family—including grandma and grandpa—who were all smiles from the moment we started.

With two happy kids leading the way, the entire session was filled with laughter, love, and those candid moments that make family photos so special. You could feel the connection between them, and it radiated through every image. When families show up full of love, it makes my job effortless.

One fun and unexpected highlight? A surprise visit from a friendly bulldog who wandered into our shoot and quickly became everyone’s new best friend. It was such a sweet, spontaneous moment that added even more personality to their gallery. Towards the end I also let the kids take a few photos with my camera and they did great! It’s fun to see everyone be more spontaneous when someone they know is pushing the button.

We wrapped up the evening with the most beautiful golden light and I couldn’t have asked for a better way to end the session.
