There’s something so special about springtime in the PNW—everything feels fresh, soft, and full of promise. And that’s exactly how this beautiful maternity session unfolded along the riverbanks of Post Falls.

I’ve had a few sessions with Beth and her family through the years and each sessions has been so much fun and so unique. I was excited when she reached out again for more maternity photos! It’s been fun to see them grow as a family and I’m sure their daughter will make the best big sister!

The connection between them was effortless. Mom absolutely glowed in the soft evening light, while Dad gently held her hand and shared quiet smiles. Their daughter brought all the joy—full of wonder and curiosity as she played near the water’s edge, stopping only to snuggle up with her parents or throw some more stones into the water. By the end of the session, those tired, silly giggles had us all smiling.

Spring in Post Falls is truly a photographer’s dream—those dreamy blooms, mild temperatures, and golden sunsets make it one of the most magical times of the year for photos.
